ABOUT THIS PLANT & GROWTH ? What makes Callisia repens so special is its resilience and adaptability to a variety of growing conditions. This hardy plant is known for its ability to quickly spread and fill in spaces, creating a lush carpet of foliage that adds texture and visual interest to gardens and landscapes. Its delicate leaves, which are typically lance-shaped and variegated with shades of green and purple, create a soft, cascading effect that enhances the beauty of any setting.

- Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight ( placing it in a location where it receives filtered sunlight or partial shade) Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause sunburn and damage the delicate leaves.

- Soil: In well-draining soil rich in organic matter. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and compost works well to provide nutrients and promote healthy growth.

- Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, watering thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. During the active growing season ( spring and summer) water more frequently, but reduce watering during the dormant period in fall and winter.
